DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, May 7\, the Tufts Entrepreneurial Network cordially invites you their annual Springtime soiree at the Bella Union! Please join us from 6:00-8:00 PM for a cocktail reception on the rooftop with fellow alums who are interested in entrepreneurship\, startups\, venture capital\, social impact\, innovation\, and technology over food and drinks. Any Tufts grad interested or curious about these spaces and entrepreneurial thinking (or who simply wants to connect with NYC-area Jumbos) is welcome to join. \nThis is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alums and form new connections as we make our way into the summer season. Members of the Tufts community\, such as Kevin Oye\, Executive Director of The Gordon Institute\, and Elaine Chen\, Cummings Family Professor of the Practice of Entrepreneurship & Director at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center\, will be in attendance as well. \nWith stunning views of the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building\, this is one gathering you won’t want to miss. SUMMARY:Jumbos Uncorked: An Evening at Kivelstadt Cellars
DESCRIPTION:Ready for a fun night out? The Tufts Entrepreneurial Network (TEN)\, ’Bos of the Last Decade (BOLD)\, and the Derby Entrepreneurship Center (DEC) invite you to an elegant and relaxed evening in Sonoma. \nOn Saturday\, October 3\, join us at Kivelstadt Cellars\, owned by fellow Tufts alum\, Jordan Kivelstadt\, E04. The evening will begin at 4:30 PM with a wine tasting led by Jordan\, who will guide guests through a curated selection of Kivelstadt Cellars wines paired with artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards. \nFollowing the tasting\, we’ll gather on the patio for a family-style dinner and an opportunity to connect with fellow alumni\, professionals in the innovation and technology sectors\, and members of the DEC leadership team. Enjoy a seasonal menu featuring burrata with arugula\, heirloom tomatoes\, balsamic reduction\, and grilled focaccia; citrus-herb marinated flank steak with house-made chimichurri; and sweet potato tacos dorados with guacamole\, salsa\, jalapeños\, and shaved cabbage slaw. \nRegistration is $50 for alumni and guests and $20 for young alumni and guests who graduated in 2026-2017. Your registration includes the wine tasting\, dinner\, Kivelstadt wines throughout the evening\, and non-alcoholic beverages. \nRound trip motorcoach transportation for San Francisco is available for an additional $20 per person and will depart at 3:00 p.m. from San Francisco (SoMa-area) and return to the city at approximately 10:30-11:00 p.m. Space is limited\, so we encourage early registration. Location of the bus pick up will be shared closer to the event date.
