Entrepreneurship For Social Impact Minor

Offered in partnership with the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life

About the Entrepreneurship for Social Impact Minor

Overview

The Entrepreneurship for Social Impact Minor is designed for students who are passionate about solving societal problems in civic life through social and political engagement with a bias to action. Students explore both the entrepreneurial mindset and skillset, and fundamentals of civic studies.

What you will learn

Students learn to be bold and action oriented. They feel empowered to take the first step towards turning their idea to impact in civic justice, social movements and more through starting, joining, or running social enterprises. They feel empowered to make change at any level.

Requirements

To fulfill the Entrepreneurship for Social Impact Minor, students take six courses: Three Entrepreneurship (ENT) courses offered by Derby Entrepreneurship Center, and three Civic Studies (CVS) courses offered by Tisch College.
