Felice Shapiro has been an entrepreneur in publishing for her entire career. She sold her print magazine group targeting the regional parenting market in 1998 (Family Publishing Group), and launched a digital media site www.betterafter50.com in November of 2011. As the Founder/Publisher of the on-line magazine, Better After 50 (BA50), she is dedicated to celebrating women in their next phase. She established Betterafter50.com as #1 in its niche for women in this stage of life (currently boasting over 45K instagram followers). She taught Entrepreneurship 101 at Tufts for 5 years.
She is a mother of 2 Tufts Grads, Jake (08) and Caleb Shapiro (11), and her fabulous husband Bill is also a Tufts Alum. Felice is an adventure traveler who is dedicated to living a positive life. She loves to coach start-ups and write, and is an avid yogi, skier, golfer and road biker. Felice and her boys established the Alan Shapiro Entrepreneurial Lecture Series in loving memory of her husband to continue his (their) passion for celebrating entrepreneurs and sharing their stories with Tufts students.
