Fletcher D-Prize Pitch to Match

Join us for a high-energy networking event and a pitch-to-match session for the Fletcher D-Prize!

The Fletcher D-Prize is an annual competition to increases distribution of the world’s most cost-effective poverty interventions. Solutions to extreme poverty exist. The real constraint is distribution. D-Prize produces Distribution Entrepreneurs, people who launch new ventures and distribute existing interventions to millions in the world’s poorest communities. The call to action include challenges from the following areas: Agriculture, Clean Water, Energy, Education, Health Access, Livelihoods, and Public Service. Fletcher D-Prize Teams must include at least one Fletcher student. Tufts students from other schools (undergraduate and graduate) who share a passion for solving poverty solutions in developing countries are encouraged to join a Fletcher team and help them make a difference.

The event will start with an intimate networking event where you will meet Fletcher students and share your interest and passion in poverty interventions. We will then host a pitch-to-match session where students can pitch their ideas to get team members, or pitch their interests and skills to join a team.

• You will get live feedback from Marilyn Davison, Entrepreneurship Coach in Residence, Will Snider, Judge in the D-Prize as well as from your peers in the room.
• If you don’t have an idea but want to join a team, come prepared to talk about how you could contribute to a tea

This event is hosted by the Fletcher D-Prize Team in collaboration with the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts.
