Carol Denning

Assistant Director, Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts

Carol is the Assistant Director at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center. She develops strategies for co-curricular events and academic objectives for the Entrepreneurship Program. She plans and executes a variety of co-curricular programs and activities, including business plan competitions, seminars, lectures, workshops, and events. She is a passionate supporter of entrepreneurship education at Tufts, representing the Center at a variety of events. She manages course setup for the entrepreneurship portfolio, works with faculty on curriculum development, and manages faculty hiring and annual contracts.

Prior to Tufts, Carol served as a senior merchandising, buying and category management executive in several multinational apparel and footwear companies, most recently serving as the Director of Buying and Category Management at Clarks Americas. As an intrapreneur, Carol led the successful introduction and expansion of Kids Footwear into the North America market.

Carol holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
