Chris Roby

Product Manager

Chris is a senior product leader with a track record of bringing innovative and impactful products to market. An enthusiastic entrepreneur at heart, Chris has first hand experience in building and advising startups in a variety of industries.

Most recently, Chris was leading the development of a new product for automobiles at Google in their Maps division. Prior to that, he was part of the telemedicine startup 98point6, launching a novel ML-based system that automatically diagnoses and proposes a treatment plan for patients with certain conditions.

Rover was a notable stop in Chris’s experiences, joining the company post-Series A when they were just 30 people. During his time there, he was responsible for building and launching multiple new lines of business, which today collectively make up for half of Rover’s booking volume as a public company. He saw the team grow from 30 to 500 people, taking in the lessons of building and scaling a startup.

Chris has co-taught courses on design at both Tufts and MIT, and is passionate about building products that deliver excellent experiences to their users.

Chris holds a BS in Computer Science from Tufts University.
