Elisabeth Tsilikounas

Elisabeth Tsilikounas is a versatile business and operations executive with over 25 years of experience in the biotech/pharma industry.  Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for building and leading rapid business growth in novel areas, global settings and for S&P 500 companies.  She has experience across multiple areas such as commercial operations, corporate & business development and alliance management, and has held positions of increasing responsibility at companies including Gilead Sciences and Genzyme Sanofi.

 

Elisabeth was Research Fellow in the Gastroenterology Department at the New England Medical Center (Boston, MA) where she was the recipient of a National Institutes of Health Fellowship.  She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Tufts University (Boston, MA), a MBA from Simmons School of Management (Boston, MA), where she was Dean’s Merit Scholar, and a M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Summa Cum Laude, from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France). 

 

Elisabeth holds French-American dual citizenship.  She grew up in France, with a French mother and an American father of Greek origin, and has studied and worked in both France and the US.  Elisabeth lives in the Bay Area with her husband and daughter.
