Kim Hartman graduated from Tufts with a BA in Political Science in 1985 and received an MBA in Finance in 1990 from the Leonard Stern School at Business at NYU. She currently owns and runs KH Designs, an interior design firm in New York City. Prior to being a designer, Ms. Hartman was Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities for Trust Company of the West. She spends a majority of her free time working with non-profits. Ms. Hartman serves on the Board of Directors for Temple Emanu El in NYC, Writopia Labs (a national creative writing program for children and teens), UJA Federation of Manhattan, University of Pennsylvania Hillel National Board, Co-Chair Board of Governors for FARE(Food Allergy Research and Education) and she is the Chair of the Development Committee for Excellence Community Schools (a charter management organization in NYC).
Kim is married, has 3 children, a dog named Missy and lives on the Upper East Side.
