Mac is an MIT subject matter expert on additive manufacturing, working with an outstanding team at MIT Open Learning (MIT Horizons) to develop a new product to help professionals learn about emerging technologies. He is also the founder and CEO of Next Lattice, a design engineering firm, and a former application engineer at Stratasys. In addition, he is the lead lecturer for the MIT Intro to Making and Design for 3D Printing courses at the Institute. Mac earned a physic degree from the University of Minnesota.
