I believe that investing in teaching & learning drives innovation and social change. I am passionate about (1) designing meaningful experiences where students and teachers create together, and (2) supporting a diverse social impact sector where we confront urgent community needs while tackling systems change. My thinking and work are informed by my experience in classrooms and my desire to experience a just world.
Three adjectives that I’d use to describe myself are: critical thinker, risk taker and hopeful. I may not be the most outspoken person in the room, but I like to create spaces where everyone will contribute and grow. I ask questions that prompt thoughtful conversation and I have high expectations for what we can accomplish together, putting people first. My personal interests include spending time with loved ones, travel, reading, bringing like-minded folks together — along with the more than occasional Netflix binge.
