Nehemiah Green is Principal of Business Development at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Startups, where he manages partnerships with top-tier venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, and seed investors while serving as a trusted advisor to founders of venture-backed startups.
Prior to AWS, Nehemiah led strategic partnerships at Patreon, where he established the platform’s integration with Vimeo. During his tenure, the platform grew to serve 200,000+ creators and 7+ million fans, processing over $1 billion in creator payments.
Before Patreon, Nehemiah led Business Development at Handshake, establishing partnerships with Fortune 500 companies including Under Armour, McKinsey & Co., and IBM for the company’s employer-facing platform. Earlier in his career, he was among the founding members of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), where he helped establish the U.S. federal agency responsible for overseeing consumer financial products and services in response to the 2008 financial crisis.
Nehemiah holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University.
