Sean Harrington

Sean currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Teamworks, where he leads an international team of Software Developers to build the Operating System for Sports and Tactical. Teamworks optimizes elite athletic organizations’ abilities to acquire and develop talent, in addition to streamlining day-to-day operations. Teamworks also enables AI and Fintech capabilities throughout the product suite, to bring partners a differentiated and competitive advantage. Previously, Sean has served as Head of Product, after a role as the General Manager for the Notemeal product at Teamworks, which was acquired by Teamworks in 2021, and founded by Sean in 2019. Notemeal is a software ecosystem creating a new fueling experience for athletes, connecting them with their performance dietitians and chefs to increase performance through optimized nutrition. Prior to Notemeal, Sean served as Director of Software Engineering for the New England Patriots for 4 years, through 2 Super Bowl Championships. He has published research in the Nutrigenomics space, as co-author and maintainer of the Phytebyte open-source project, and is an active participant in the “dark matter of nutrition” space, with a focus on bioactive compounds found in plants, and their application in various industries. Sean is a proud Tufts Football alum, graduating in 2014 with a degree in Computer Science, and grew up in Chelmsford, MA.
