Sheri Palazzo is a technology and management leader with over 25 years of experience across both major corporations—including GE, Bose, and HP—and multiple startups. Sheri’s expertise spans engineering, operations and leadership, having been in roles ranging from designer to systems engineer to program manager to VP of Engineering.
Sheri is the founder of Saplings Consulting, her initiative to mentor and coach professionals by sharing the best practices she has cultivated throughout her career. She is passionate about fostering growth in emerging leaders and helping individuals navigate the challenges of technical and management roles. She considers the 50+ start-ups and 100+ individuals as part of her Saplings family.
Sheri holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University. She has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Boston’s Best Tech Manager Timmy Award, Womenx Innovator’s Mentorship Excellence Award, AeroShield Technology’s Outstanding Advisor Award, and Cleantech Open’s Rookie Mentor of the Year. Sheri is an active mentor for many university, accelerator, and incubator programs, serves as an Expert-In-Residence at Greentown Labs, and is a Board Member at Forge.
